Insurance coverage depends on the patient’s plan and diagnosis. Clients can use their Health Saving Account for Dietitian services. We also create superbills for out of network insurance plans. We accept Aetna. Aetna plans usually covers nutrition counseling . Florida Blue holders can use their out of network benefits toward counseling sessions. Medical Nutrition Therapy is covered by Medicare part B for diagnoses of diabetes, non-dialysis kidney disease, and 36 months post kidney transplant when referred by a physician.
